The Heavenly Chronicle: premature return?

Today, Angels have promoted back to Belgiums most prestigious league: the BBBL! With kikaazz dropping the ball in the PO's, the Angels had to overcome some serious injury problems to key players Serag and Callewaert.

First up were VC Aalter, a team who has a 65% winrate against the Angels. However, this season was going to be one of heavenly retribution. The Angels had something to make up for after their 60 point loss against Aalter only a week earlier. They were swiftly dispatched, despite missing defensif stalwart Serag.

Up next where the Beerschot Bears, featuring the monstrous Vaes and Barrosso. However, the Bears haven't been able to beat the Angels in the past 2 seasons. Despite equipping Penha with a machete and injuring Callewaert within the first 39 seconds of the game, the Angels held on for dear life. Through sheer willpower and determination, Kasperovich, who was on Tripple Double watch, put the team on his back and dragged them to a finals birth! he ended up 3 assists short of Tripple double, but that didn't stop him from being pleased with his preformance!

Then came aSeasons 28 rematch with Insane hangtime. in season 28, the Angels managed to win the finals in convincing style. However, with Serag and Callewaert returning from injury trouble, the team was finally back at full capacity. And where as Kasperovich played lock down defense, matching up against the hardest opponents, it was Sara who was poring in the points in game 1. In game 2, the Angels mistook the game for a boxing training (to improve their fitness) which lead to several players being benched and the game going to a decisif Tie Breaker! However, the Angels picked up the pace that they had used in the first game! Valery taking care of the defensif end and Sara being a monster offensifly.

The Angels will be flying out to Spain where they will link up with the newest addition Stojanovic before reporting back for duty on thrusday evening in their season friendly opener against Totwart! After the game, the promotion party will be held!

Saterday, they'll be ready to go in the BBBL, where they will find many familiar faces (Spartans, Cowboys, Ventola & Dynamite, just to name a few) Curious to see who will be their first opponents and how will the Angels match up? They are ahead of their timelin for promotion by a full season. Is this too early or does the team have what it takes to challenge Belgiums Best?
