The Heavenly Chronicle: Play-Offs Finales!

Game 1 is over, with Angels teaching Dexia a real lesson in what playing basketball means. Otto went nuts from downtown, knocking down 5 of his 6 attempts of the evening while sitting out the 4th quarter. And Ofcourse, Fleeton had a huge double double, combining 36 points with 18 boards. The Angels connection (Otto - Fleeton, as they get referred to by the NT staff) combined for over 50% of the Angels points in the first game against Dexia Namur.

As everyone knows, the players aren't attending any press conferences, so their won't be any quotes from the players, but that didn't prevent General Manager Revo from not attending the press conference.

Revo: "I'm extremely pleased how Patche ( Ottevaere) and Gerry ( Fleeton) are getting allong on the court. They are finding eachother very easely during the games. ofcourse, having played together at the NT lvl helps them finding eachother easely. Fleeton is providing more than we had hoped for, both in terms of economy as in terms of production on the court, so we are extremely pleased having him here with us. Futhermore, i'd like to invite my dear friends Mister Q and his succesor, Quintus, to my luxury box next week, for the next game, since i got a feeling that this could end up being a very short series..."

No info was released on wheither or not the starting 5 (Leroy, Blairon, Ottevaere, Martinez and Fleeton) would be playing this week saterday, or if they would be rested for a final game on sunday.

Anyhow, Revo did seem to say that he wouldn't mind a 3rd game, both for the economical picture as for having the possibility of celebrating the II.3 championship in the Angels home arena.
