Press Announcements

The Heavenly Chronicle: Angels are active on the TL just before the PO deadline!

Angels HQ is bussy as usual. However, now, they have decided to bring in the big guns. Angels are selling off ( or have sold off) their recently acquired players, such as Lee Crooks or Robert Klotzej, and Fabian Meekers has also moved to another club.

Revo "Fabian had requrested to move a while ago. But unfortunately, we still needed him during this season, however, we wish him the best in his new club."

when the manager was asked about why Robert and Lee were being moved away, he had this to say: "Robert was acquired to help out our team in it's first BBBL season. we had little funds and were in need of some experience at the guard position, which Robert has provided in a very big way. He knew very well that he wouldn't be playing here for a very long time, and we'd like to thank him for his contributions. Lee had requested to move back to his homeland, after being homesick. He was a guard that figured into our futur plans, but for an unknown reason, he ended up chosing for a German team. All i can hope for, is that he'll keep improving and grow into a great player that we had hoped he'd end up being."

Ofcourse, selling off players, means that their are rosterspots that need to be filled up. And this time, the Angels have gone for a big gun.

Revo: "Since we had 2 guards leaving us, it meant that we'd need to fill up a spot in our guard division. We've decided to go with the Chinees Liu Dongwen. We were in urgent need of a player who could run our offense and pass the ball more freely. Liu can play at the PG without any troubles, meaning that Lucien could play at his favorite spot, being the SG spot. Liu's passing skills should be able to help the team preform at a better lvl. Liu isn't just a PO reinforcement. He is here to stay for a few seasons, tho you never know how things end up in this world of basketball..."

Only the futur will tell how the Angels will look like, but with these major upgrades, it seems clear that the Angels management is aiming improve their roster and thus move up the powerrankings in the Great 8 division
