The Heavenly Chronicale: Kaiser goes TD-mode for the second time in his career

since yesterday, the Angels are mathematically certain to qualify for the Post season. In a season where they saw their top players depart for other teams, Ottevaere has once again carried the burden of leading the team to victory, night in night out. Altho he's likely to overlooked (AGAIN) in the MVP voting at the end of the season, one cannot deny that without Ottevaeres stellar defense and consistent offense, the Angels wouldn't have a 17-0 record. However, Otto is starting to fade. It's becoming increasingly more difficult for him to step it up night in night out. However, his futur replacement, Kaiser, recently dropped his first Tripple Double and took some time to sit down with the reporters

How is it to play in the shadow of the franchise best player, Otto. Do u feel u are getting enough chances to prove yourself in this team?

DK The coach makes the calls. i was brought here to develop myself and in the long run, they are hoping that i'll be able to take over the captains role of leading this team. Otto is doing a great job, i have much to learn from him. Considering he's standing on the spot i'm hoping to get, i'm not surprised that i'm coming off the bench for a pretty large amount of games. However, i've had plenty of starts as well, so all in all, i'm happy with my playing time.

with the PO's comming up, what do u think is your best way to contribuate?

DK I've been in PO's each of my previous 4 seasons. I've got some experience when it comes down to playing, however, i've never been a starter in any PO game before. I'm kinda hoping i'll get my shot this time around. But i have to be honnest, if i'm starting a game, it's to spread out the minutes for others. I'm currently the 1rst or 2nd guy of the bench

lets talk about ur TD. What made this one special?

DK For starters, it was in an official league game. u can argue that the competition wasn't really strong, but it was a fun game never the less. shame that J-J had to go down in the 3rd Q. we were linking up very well and he was on schedule to smash the clubs record of points scored in a single game. But it was nice to get a TD. it's a game i'll remember for the rest of my life

And how are the fans treating you?

DK like an emperor (big smile). No seriously, they had a warm welcome for me. i had to addapt to belgian lifestyle after enjoying a couple of seasons in Australia. However, it should be said that the welcome was a very warm one. They expect excellence from me, which futher motivates me to keep growing. But at the end of the day, even if u have had a poor performance, they'll stick back u up

You have a chance of finishing the regular season 22-0. What are your thoughs about that?

DK 22-0 is a special season. It sure would be nice, but at the end of the day, u want to win the division title. Altho our record is the best, we are well aware that we aren't the strongest team in the division and will keep charging to get as many factors in our advantage as possible. 22-0 is nice, but if we don't win the championship, then that 22-0 record won't matter. Our goal is the championship, but we've still got a long road ahead of us with many though challengers
