The Heavenly Chronicle: Farewell game

AnA HQ is being stormed by the press right now after having released a statement earlier today that the next game against KV Forever is most likely the farewell game for a couple of players.

GM-Revo: "I really hate to see player go. I really do. Especially AnA Hall of Fame players such as Gerry Fleeton, who has had a tremendous impact on our team and really given us a near superhuman defensive presence. But the Angels need to rebuild and for rebuilding we need cash. Fleeton is taking up alot of salary and thus we have to part out ways. He's the Belgian starting C, and we're going to miss him big time."

Gerry Fleeton: "To be honest, i really don't want to leave this club. I really want to stay here. I love playing with Lulu (Leroy), Patje ( Ottevaere), Freddy (Vino) and the other guy's. But i understand the view of the franchise. Atleast i'll still be playing for the Revo at the NT lvl. He's one heck of a coach. Whatever the Angels do, aslong as Revo is at the head of this franchise, they'll be back to shine at the highest stage in belgium pretty soon. I'm just going to regret that i won't be around as a teammate then."

Patrick Ottevaere: "Economically, something had to be done. I'm not to pleased with what is happening, but i'm going to ride it out and see how things go on. I would to have had some more hardware along the road, but it can't be helped. I've got 2 lower division championships, and who knows, i might still be around when the Angels make their comeback at the best lvl in Belgium. But for now, it's clear. Next season, i'm going to be in the role of a veteran. A new challenge for me, to be showing the ropes to the rookies. it should be fun"
