The Heavenly Chronicle: A new franchise record for Fleeton!

In the victorious outing today, Fleeton has beaten a new franchise record. After having gotten the record for rebounds ( 29 in a game) back 2 seasons ago in the PO's, Fleeton has once again broken another record, but this time, it's the blocks in a single game record! Fleeton rejected as many as 8 shots in a 43 minutes effort against Boes.

We asked a few fans what they though of his preformance tonight:
Quinten (15y):"Fleeton is tha Bomb. The way he swats those shots away. I love him! He's my hero!"

Jean-Jacques (19y):"Fleeton is having a MVP like season. Ofcourse you've got Thys and Deseure in this league, but if Fleeton keeps playing like he has lately, then he might just end up bringing that MVP trophy home. I would love to see him crowned MVP"

Edward (34y): "I'm proud to have 2 internationals in our squad, tho Ottevaere is having a hard time to get any minutes in the NT right now... But Fleeton is showing night in night out that he's Belgiums best C on the NT lvl! I'm proud that he's an Angel!"

Gert-Jan (94y, AnA's oldest supporter) "I've known the Angels from the beginning. Fleetons arrival is the best thing that ever happened to the Angels. Drafting Ottevaere comes as second. Angels might be able to accomplish something this season and atleast get a trophy of some sort. Their best shot is probably going after the MVP title for Fleeton. I would love to see him MVP."

After having interviewed some fans, Fleeton said postgame: "It's an honor to be holding 2 franchise records. I know very well that it's unlikely that those records will be broken anytime soon." When asked how he felt breaking shotblock wonder Rokofilos, Fleeton said: "i never knew Rokofilos, but from Niko (VDW) i heard that he was a real team player and greatly contribuated to the clubs progress back in the early day's of this franchise."

Ottevaere, who was at the club when Rokofilos still played for them, compares both players: "Fleeton is a monster, who can put up big numbers and block shots on a regular basis. Rokofilos was a guard, so blocking shots is slightly harder their. Yet when you break a record while playing in the BBBL, that means you got the stuff. Both of them had simular caracters in the lockerroom, so yeah, they look alike till a certain lvl. Yet, i think i would rate Fleetons preformance over rokofilos preformance, just because of the lvl of competition it was performed in..."

Manager Revo is unable to comment, due to the fact that he's revalidating in his home from his most recent surgery, but would have phoned Fleeton to congratuate him ( and the team) on their great win tonight.
