Australia earns hosting rights to Season 57 Asian Cup

G'day to all of our new visitors that are slowly beginning to arrive on our sandy beaches, don't mind the crocodiles, sharks, jellyfish and deadly octopuses, make yourselves at home for what we hope will be an enjoyable stay.
After a solid hit out in Season 56 we Aussies have earned our turn of hosting the Asian Cup this season and we couldn't be prouder.

In typical Aussie fashion we hope you enjoy our hospitality; the beers are cold, the pies are hot and the barbecue will be producing that perfect mix of charcoal and raw meat any minute now. For our vegetarian friends we're sure you'll find our fruit salad to be yummy, yummy, while we can't recommend the classic vegemite on toast highly enough.
Please enjoy the sites and sights while you're here, just watch out for the snakes, giant spiders and vicious drop bears - those buggers are nasty.

We hope you find the facilities to your liking and leave empty handed but as happy as a Rottnest Island Quokka who just pinched the last lamington (and no, New Zealand, for the last time, they're ours, not yours).
