Well, at least we're still alive in the tournament...

I still cannot believe that we lost to Taiwan by as much as we did. Even if we did deserve to lose that game (even that is questionable imo), it should've been close and not a blow-out.

But the victory against Iran last night ensures that we will finish 2nd in Pool D, so we do get to progress to the final four. This does mean however that I'm not so confident about our teams ability to win the championship like we did four seasons ago. But everything on paper, from the strength of our squad to our HCA, is telling me that the loss was just an out-lier and shouldn't be taken as a bad omen of things to come.

We'll probably be playing China in the semi-final. Always a tough game, but at the highest level of NT competition anyone can beat anyone.
