Turbato Sent Packing

Last night, escorted by Security, Gabriele Turbato left the team premises to pack his 50 suitcases, after a team from Venezuela made a first bid for his future services. Says an enraged Turbato:
I am not happy with this treatment. Meidling has paid me $ 40 million in salaries over 8 seasons, and now they treat me like an outcast. I'm considering turning to the courts.
But team officials say they found out about a secret plan by Turbato to use his wealth to buy up the team, rename it Meidling Bobcats and replace Josef Ka as general manager. It might have been an interesting experiment to watch, but probably not a path to either financial or competitive viability.
