Cresleys Pull Heist and Victory

The Connecticut Cresleys had what would be called a very weak draft. So, the Cresleys went out and pulled off what many called the heist of the day, when they went out and purchased Germany's Timo Zyla and Italy's Roberto Meale. Both will be converted to the backcourt for their training. "Zyla is really overlooked. He is going to be a great player in the Donghao mold. Meale has been compared at this stage to Clyde Diehl. The training will be a cinch, though Zyla is longer term, Meale will step right in."

In the meantime, the Cresleys traveled to the Hooders to fight a war. Hooders Ernest Anderson led all scorers with 25 points, but Alex Henry led the Cresleys with 24 points, as the Cresleys eked out a 95-90 Opening Night win on the road.
