Cresleys Set Record In Rout

The Connecticut Cresleys continue to march early on in Division Four. With a stifling defense, and outstanding play by Nurullah Otun, the Cresleys manhandled the NY Fastbreak, 140-90. The Cresleys held the Fastbreak to 37 percent from the field, while completely dominating them on the glass, 69-43.

Nurullah Otun continued his outstanding play, scoring a game-high 28 points, while grabbing 19 boards. He joined five others in double figures as the Cresleys raced to a 70-32 halftime lead. This would balloon to a 110-49 lead after three, when garbage time allowed the Fastbreak to bring it to the final score. The 140 points is the most points the Cresleys have ever scored in a game.

Wiiliam Newberry led the Fastbreak with 23 points in just 13 minutes. Most in garbage time.
