Thank you for your opinion. You have every right to be my opponent in the elections. At the same time, I don't want to transform managerial debates into political ones. But for your information, people in our country are the same as in any other. There are a lot of good people, there are also bad people. It is also sad for me to see how other people suffer, and my homeland falls into international isolation. But unfortunately, the opinion of an individual is insignificant on the scale of the state. And transferring big politics to the relationships of individuals is a very wrong step.

It's your right to defend yourself and I agree with everything you say.

But let's get back to what this thread is about. I invite everyone who's interested in the job to share their thoughts on the NT's development, strategy, etc.

A few words on strategy: we have only three players who really deserve to play in the starting lineup: Lyle, Spens, Boyd. One player on the way to this is MacShimes. Moreover, Lyle will have to play exclusively PG, since MacShimes is not strong in the draw. We have a weak position of the second bigman: Barrie, Losiak, MacKersey are cool guys, but not at all the level of the European team. There is hope for the youth, I hope that MacMaurice, Chapp, Tempe, or someone else in a couple of seasons will be close to getting into the squad. In terms of the depth of PG/SG positions, we are still pretty good, there are a number of veterans with decent skills + Fitchy, who are still stronger in TSP than MacShimes. Things are worse for the spare SF. Now the best candidate is Blair. It is quite versatile, if necessary, it can be shifted to the position of a spare PF, although then one of the other guys will have to be put on SF, most likely Willey.
Well, to sum up, we need to train young people, there are a lot of players in the team with a limited ceiling, without this we will not become stronger.
Also, a number of veterans will begin to receive a reduction in skills, will gradually leave the roster.

It is a pity that we cannot talk about this anymore, but at the same time I do not envy you citizens ...

The strategy is simple - involve more managers to coach players, as only high-level players can bring victories.

So basically the same strategy that TRUF is using? Why do you think that you're more suited to the job than him? (Not offensively meant, just a question to understand why someone should vote for you ...) If I had to choose, TRUF has been true to his word, has been involved in developing players for the u21 for a couple of seasons, has carried on the initiative that I started, altered it in some points. From time to time we still share thoughts about player developments.

He's really motivated and involved and cares for the NT. So: what would you do differently?

First of all, what I would do is invite one or two assistants to the NT team, because there is teamwork here and the assistants would have some responsibilities, such as further training of 22 yo players, 28 yo training of cracks. And of course the most essential thing is to contact me with the owners for support for player forms.

I know I can‘t vote in Scotland. But since this a debate thread and I‘ve been following the scottish community since I started playing in season 11, I guess it‘s ok for me to ask a couple of questions.

I don‘t follow you. Those assistants would coordinate the training? Or train themselves? If you‘re in a big country, that might be needed and teamwork is almost always a good idea. But we have only a handful of players in Scotland that need to be coordinated, so in my opinion that should be done by the elected NT manager himself.

Even in Germany, which isn’t exactly a big BB-Country but not small either, the NT manager always looks after the training of NT prospects and NT players already on the roster. Of course, we discuss training with scouts/ assistants. But it‘s the NT manager who decides…

I’m almost guaranteed not to win the election because when the coach’s rating is 100% and only 1 manager voted there’s obvious a lack of promotion. Clearly, it’s hard to get to football in the country.
