Perfect 8-0 record for the first time ever, will probably have the fewest defeats in our U21 NT history, and still the popularity is at 67%.

Does the person who gave the coach a negative vote want to share the reasons why? Is the team too successful?

Probably too successful. Too much change. Too fast.

The first round was brilliant. But it will be incredibly difficult with the Greeks.
I hope that we will prove a good game

I drafted a player a few seasons ago, but decided to sell him to TRUF as I didn't have a training spot for him at that time. His development went pretty well (he's 23 y.o now) and was eventually sold again in April for the sum of $685 000. I would like to sign that player now, but the new owner asks for unrealistic money and refuses to sell him for less than 2 million. (I offered $1,250 000 so still a very good profit for him) He doesn't intend to train him any further, he simply wants to profiteer. if i was given the opportunity to sign him back in April, I would have paid $680 000+.

I have a suggestion. From now on, every time you place a young Scottish player on the transfer list, please post here and/or inform his first ever owner. Let's keep Scottish players in Scottish teams!

That's really annoying if someone just wants to profit. It's definitely a good idea to try to keep scottish players in good hands. Doesn't have to be a scottish team as long as that manager is interested in helping the development of the NT, thus training the player. But it would definitely be good if someone posted an info here. There is a thread to advertise players, that's where it should be posted, otherwise I guess it's not strictly "legal". But mentioning that a player is on the TL should be tolerated, I guess. Thanks again for trying to get him ... and I guess, you'll get him for the money you offered in a couple of weeks if he sees that he doesn't get what he's asking for ...

Thank you for your interest in Scottish youth.
Still, the decision for how much to put up a player lies entirely with the owner, it's difficult to do anything about it.
I would like to know if your area of interest is only homegrown players, or are you ready to take on other Scottish guys to continue training? I will most likely sell someone of my own in the off-season, make a post on the forum, I can notify you personally.
What kind of player will be interesting? What position?

And this is how it ends... Was hard to do better, but we did amazing anyway!

This was my last game with the team as well, as I'll be working only with the Portuguese U21 team from now on!

It was a pleasure, and I'll be checking on the team and this forum whenever I can!

Good luck to all of you! See you soon!

It was an amazing season, congrats! I sure hope you‘ll set up a couple of scrimmages for the remaining season in order to let the players gather some more experience or let the U20 players get accustomed to the team. Would be a shame if you just left right away…

Good luck with the portugese team, are you running as u21 coach or just will be joining the team? I‘m rather glad that I don‘t have to face you as team manager next monday, but I guess that doesn’t matter. We had a good season, but without HCA we won’t stand a chance against Portugal…but that‘s the way with tournaments, the longer you stay in the competition, the stronger the opponents get. And now it‘s Portugal for us.

See you next season (hopefully, I‘ll probably be running again for german u21).

Good job, Coach. You've had great seasons.
I hope that everything will turn out no less successfully in the other team.
