The Rik Smits Clogs are unsure how to proceed now that news of their proposed Marketing Slogan "With great ability comes great responsibility" has been leaked. The tagline was devised by the marketing department to highlight the fact that the team is filled with guys from the US and A, and to hopefully encourage them to participate in the local community and develop the fan base. Unfortunately, many astute observers -- including anyone who has ever seen the team play, practice, or in Warren Renteria's case, attempt to drink a glass of water without tripping -- have all pointed out that they are unsure how the words "great ability" fit this collection of guys. The devoted losers... uh, fans at RikSmitsClogsBlogs.com have suggested instead "With very modest ability comes the hope that you don't poop on your neighbors more than twice a week", which is more accurate but a standard that apparently Morgan Menard is unable to reach. (On both the talent and defecation prevention front).
In entirely unrelated news, the Clogs are looking to hire a new PR manager. Qualified applicants can... well, we know nobody qualified will apply, so if you other folks want the job, send your resume or a self-portrait or anything else to the Clogs HR staff. We must remind you, again, please no wang shots, and legally we are obligated to point out that this does not preclude applications from people named Wang.
