So after deliberating on whether or not to use my scouting points this season or wait until next season. I had 20 scouting points and decided to individually scout and interview one 5 ball player and one 4 ball player. Here were the results:

Player 9
Star Rating: 5 balls
Potential: 4 balls
Age:19
Build: 6'7" / 201 cm

Player 11
Star Rating: 5 balls
Potential: 5 balls
Age:18
Build: 6'10" / 208 cm

So I ended up only having to use 6 scouting points and I have 2 players that I am happy with. I'm in an all-bot league so I'm hoping I'm able to land both of these guys in the draft. Has anyone else gotten this lucky with scouting?

I spend 56 points per season, and never managed to find anything(I did find one A+ superstar and one A+ p.allstar in 4 seasons)

So yep, that's lucky :)

What's the grade and position of 18y guy?

The 18 year old is an A grade and a Center while the 19 year old is an A+ grade and a Center. However, with the 19 year old being 6'7" I think he's a perfect candidate for being my next SF.

Pick the 18y old, he'll be much more expensive on the transfer market.

Yeah, that's what I'm going to do. I'm hoping none of the bots in my league take him. If I get him, idk if I'm gonna sell him or train him. Still unsure.

Probably the best option is selling him and with the money invest in the arena and buy 2-3 guys with lower potential(you are in V so you don't care about potential).

It would be a big push for your club to sell him for some good money and pump up your arena.

You could also keep him for sentimental reasons, but you would need to improve your club fast if you want to eventually keep him as your franchise player.

You would need to train him in secondary skills at first anyway, so his salary wouldn't go that high for several seasons.

Perhaps some managers from US can give more input here? Is it possible to develop your club, fast enough to train an MVP?

Yeah, I think I would sell him because I could use the money. I'm going to be in D.IV next season and I don't think I could train him because I'm currently training 2 guards and don't think this guy could fit into my training schedule. With the money I get for this player, I'm going to expand my arena and get a couple big men who have a salary between $12,000-20,000. I want to at least be competitive next season so getting 2 big men should put me in that position.
