It's our time to make a push

Eggplantpopolopolous is currently tied for the third spot in the conference with McWinners and even though the team captain Alvise Isola has been sidelined for two weeks with an injury, the team believes they will make a push to clearly take hold of that third spot for good. We talked to some of the Eggplant players at practice earlier today and they had this to say...

"We play some weak teams these next two weeks, so it's kind of convenient... at least when you consider how it could have hurt us playing against the better teams. I don't think we'll need Alvise to beat these teams in the upcoming weeks. Expect our record of 7 wins and 6 losses to be 11 wins and 6 losses after the next two weeks have been played out." - Nicolas Baumert

We asked Mathieu Caramelle to comment on the playoff picture and if the current top four teams in each conference will either stay the same come playoff time or if any teams will change...

"I think the Big 8 conference is set in stone. Those four teams will still be there come playoff time. I think in the Great 8 conference that McWinners could fall out of it. Bouncing Bunnys are certainly talented enough to creep up on them and kick them out of the top four. Those are the only two teams that are still questionable at this point in time. That's the only change I could see happening." - Mathieu Caramelle
