Indonesia vs. Kazakhstan 121 - 93 (62080)

2nd win for us in this group stage. This time it was a win against somewhat weaker opponent, we can say a planned win for us. I've tried a little bit different tactics today, it was not bad at all. Big guys in frontcourt showed some performance today.

to all player owners - thanks for the solid game shape and keep up with the training plans.

Taiwan vs. Indonesia 105 - 69 (62082)

Looks like we've waken up some ghosts there so Taiwan had to put more effort against us today
Anyways, this loss was planned, opponent would have won (imo) also if the effort was vice versa, so we move on to next opponent, now the ones more close to our ranking.

The game itself was not that interesting, we got the focus right but our patient against theirs 3-2 was not ok at all.

We move on, next two weeks are crucial, keep the players in the optimal minutes per week. And thanks to all the players owners!

Indonesia vs. India 102 - 69 (62085)

Another win this season. Because of certain game shapes in our squad and in India's squad, and based on the potential risk in case of the loss, I've set the effort for the game.
Next week we play against the underdogs, who have already spent the enth a wee/two ago, so looks like we are in the good path to advance to the next phase

Macau vs. Indonesia 79 - 112 (62088)

Closing the group stage (initial) with a win for us against underdogs today. Nothing much to be said, it was an expected outcome, so we are now looking forward to seeing who we will get in the next stage.
It should be 2 groups with 6 teams, scores will be reset so all teams are starting from 0:0

Congrats and thanks to all the players owners, so far so good

2nd stage: 2 groups with 6 teams, with our group probably more polarized than the other one, meaning we have 2 contenders, 1 more strong team and 2 teams that we can compete with.
Realistically, our goal should be 2 wins but it will be very hard to get them as opponents are also looking to win the same games, I believe.

Stay tuned, cheer for the team and keep training players.

Indonesia vs. Iran 77 - 90 (62650)

A surprising loss today. Due to some injuries and bad game shape, outside tactics were not an option. Obviously, opponent has seen that as well. That was not a surprise for either party but a surprise is a comfort loss despite our effort in the game.

Heads up, tough Monday for us, but we have to move on.

Hong Kong vs. Indonesia 127 - 69 (62652)

one of those loses we knew will happen, opponent very stronger team, one of the contenders actually.
Nothing much to say except that our SG did quite good today (surprisingly)
Next week - Japan, lets try to bring that game home!

Indonesia vs. Nippon 120 - 124 (62657)

Another tough loss for us. Today we basically had some chances until our SF was still in the game but after his injury the match was one way street for us.
Japanese SF is an extraordinary attacking player, with some of the skills of levels 24, 22 and 21 so it was not a surprise he will produce a lot of points.
Before the match I was in doubt will that player be a SF or a C so I was not comfortable with guessing the GDP. However, it was better for us that he was playing as SF because he would have done even more damage as a C with this tactic.
To summarize, today's loss is basically 3 reasons
- my decision not to guess GDP
- our best player is not in good game shape (recovering from a 2 weeks injury)
- our starting SF today got injured in the 1/4

Todays result mean that we will finish the 2nd stage without a single win which is a disappointment of course.

Indonesia vs. China 50 - 140 (62659)

one another expected loss for us. the other contender of the tournament. With our enthusiasm spent in the previous game, ˜90 points in difference is somewhat expected.

Malaysia vs. Indonesia 72 - 43 (62663)

with this, yet another defeat, we have concluded this season's competition. 5 loses in a row, very bad streak indeed.
For the todays game, we were underdogs, so the result is confirming that.

Crucial point was a surprising lost to Iran with our great effort spent on that game without getting a win. Not only that, it was comfort win for the opponents. After that we didn't have much chances with low enth against Japan who has recovered their enth and used one extraordinary player to dominate with patient tactics.

With very nice results in the first phase of the tournament this season, the second phase is disappointment. looking forward to the next season, and keep up with trainings people.

Happy New year to all.

Offseason preparation

Today I've started with re-assessing all the players skills and updating the shortlist with NT players. Congratulations to all the work invested in training Indo players. Couple of players gained from 3 to 6 skills this season which is not bad at all having in mind that shortlist only has players 24yo and older.

I'm in contact with U21 coach and will reach out to owners of players exiting U21 squad and shortlist.

For now, there will be only one new name in the roster and we will see if any player will leave NT based on the skills drop

Cheers
