Welcome to Season 49 in the gauntlet of USA D3, III.11! It's a new look for the Great 8, as the conference adds 5 new teams, while the Big 8 remains almost identical to last season, adding only 2 new squads. Welcome to all of our newcomers and good luck this season!

Uh oh! My star player, Kurt Broughton, is out for a week with a stomach virus......Looks like my other player Ruben Starnes also has it. Better watch out for Chattanooga, we have the Corona!

What was your former team? Just curious.

I remember them!

Your current team suddenly became really good. Was hoping you'd wait at least until next season to start winning so many games!

I'm still on the fence about whether or not to load up and go for it now or wait one more season. The league feels pretty open at the moment so I may try to take it, but my arena also still needs a load of work and I'm not ready to compete at d2 level yet. I might let you have it this season and then come up next.

Your team is so sneaky though, very tough to judge, especially when you have to wade through a 70 man roster to find your key players. You must have some really salary efficient guys.

damn

Crazy how you hold 140 TSP and one of the best players in the world to 5/16 shooting. You're gonna have to make me buy another player so I can finally get out of this damn league

Was really looking forward to your game vs. Alaska tonight. First game i was actually online to watch all season! But then you completely throw the game. Sad face. (and this really screws me over with point differential too, so double sad face. it's worse than if you forfeited)

But really... why would you throw a home TV game & try to win a meaningless road game? Plus, maybe counter-intuitively, it's probably in your best interest that I win as many regular season games as possible. If you truly want me out of the league that is. (that way if i lose in the playoffs I'd still likely auto-promote & be gone after a single season no matter what!)

lol I need good GS for my cup run. Until PM gets called up for NT play the Cup is funding his salary.

Didn't really care for Alaska because it's a home game. I like to win my road games so I can get more gate revenue at the box office.

The whole last game mattering was fixed a long time ago I thought? (Didn't Marin or someone say it's an average of the last few games now?) Plus this gives you a blowout TV loss... it's going to crater your revenue from your next 2 home games.

I'm at the luxury tax though (for having too much money), so I don't really care about money anymore

You're in the perfect situation now though! You're going to coast to a 20+ win season & your fan mood will be through the roof. This may sound weird. But if that were me on the way up, I'd even make some minor *cuts* to my roster, & rake in as much money as possible the rest of this season, plus at least for half of next season. (not major cuts, but any older backups who won't impact win totals). Then be in really good shape to stick long term in D2.

Look, to prove I'm being sincere & not speaking out of self interest... I'd likely even throw our eventual playoff game this season, if you really wanted me to. (not saying that you couldn't beat me in a real game, you certainly could). If I really wanted to win this season I would just buy the title.
