Thank you for voicing your opinion T-Lit - after casting your vote the "official score" (without my vote, which is quite obvious) at the moment seems to be 3-1 to favor more simple rules.

While I prefer another (more thorough) approach, I do also appreciate some aspects that having simple rules create - like I said, I don't think this is a black or white thing, but each option has pros and cons.

Some people (like me) even find enjoyment and nice added challenge from certain type of complexity (rules, etc.), especially when their existence serves a purpose. But again, no "wrong" answers here, so (also other managers) please keep on posting your opinions. :)

Without responding to each and every one of your points, Wagner, I believe the following question to everyone might respect everything thus far completed/discussed, while moving us necessarily forward.

Attention HG Managers, please simply read the following and select a number that represents your current readiness to compete in the HG league due to start next season. Respond to this post with a number (your choice).

You are definitely correct by writing "moving us necessarily forward" at this point of time, where we still have few things to finalize before everything is ready for the launch of the homegrown league. No need to panic yet of course, but it's beneficial to have some sense of urgency here so that we can get things moving and done in time.

And while it is not crucial to be able to start immediately when next BB season starts (like mentioned in previous message, completing a homegrown league season should take 10,5-11 weeks, and as BB season lasts 14 weeks, that does give us little breathing room and things don't collapse if we're not launching the league on day 1 of season 68), I think it definitely wouldn't be ideal to leave way too many tasks and decisions for the last week before homegrown league launches.
So I'm glad to see you're back (and out of hospital), that will surely help us to get everything finalized!

As for the voting (1-5), I guess I need to disqualify myself from this voting as it combines both Commissioner voting and voting on rules. But if you guys see me as a good fit for it, of course I'd be excited to be the league Commissioner - maybe that was quite obvious anyway, but now it's said!

After your vote 2 out of 13 voters have now voiced their opinion (well, actually already 3 as I write this, as demars also just cast his vote), and we´re still waiting for the rest of us 14 participants to let us know their opinion on question posted by MrJ... :)

Just like MrJ already replied, we will get there eventually and poll/voting on it will be organized before the league starts...
And I assure you nobody has forgot (well, at least not me) your proposition for a league name. :)
