hmmm, it's confusing. let me ask in another way.
what's the best way to train PG player? Does he need driving? I thought at first that JS and PA training train HA and DV a bit, and that't enough to train as a PG player. Does he still need DV and HA training as well as PA, JS, and OD?

If you ask me, yes I want a PG with good driving, I like it over JS. I therefore also prefer training 1vs1 over jumpshot for PG's.

In my eyes, a PG needs at least OD, HA and DR. Then, he also needs a balance of PA, JS, JR and IS to your liking. He doesn't need all 4 of them to be high, but their total must be good. I want this for all my players, and the PG probably has more PA but the total needs to be in balance. This way, I believe a player will always have a good option in any situation, to either make a good pass or be able to score.

So I would train 1v1 to increase driving, as it also trains HA, JS and if you train forwards it also trains IS. 1v1 and PA usually gives you enough HA so you don't need to train it seperately. 1v1, JR and IS usually train JS enough so you don't need to train it seperately either. You always need OD.

I think in DV as the ability to create shots, either for themselves or for other. After you create this show it comes the JS/PA. PA I think it works as a BB IQ. If a player have a high PA he tends to have a higher FG%. So in game play I can things working like this: Player creates offense (DV) and then he's able to recognize (PA) if its better to pass to someone with better chance of scoring or to go to the basket by themself (JS/JR)

Game Manual says: "Allows the player to create his own shot without a good pass from a teammate." I don't think it has anything to do with creating opportunities for other players. I do believe that a HA helps PA create scoring opportunities for teammates.

I read this a poor translation of the skill. For me it would be like "the ability to break the defense" or something like that. Of course I may be wrong, and probably am. Also, I do think it´s a secondary effect. Compare players with similars JS/JR/DR/IS but different PA. The one with higher PA will probably have a higher FG%.

while I still prefer JS for a PG, I'm gonna include 1 on 1, JR, and a little IS in my PG training plan.

all in all, almost every skill is required to be a great player...hahaha.

How much helpful is HA to score?
