Also sent another reminder to T-Lit (who hasn't been logged in though after 2nd of July).
Still the same situation with T-Lit/Buckner Bandits, no logins since 2nd July.
However. like mentioned earlier, he has logged in several times before that after receiving multiple BBMails from me and contacts/questions on official threads from me, so he had plenty of opportunities to answer my (or many of yours BBMails/possibly discord messages, if you've sent any) contact attempts, and/or accept and send match offers for Season 2.
Buckner Bandits has only very little time to respond, before we need to proceed by excluding him from Season 2.
Even if he would show up at the last minute (likely "during Sunday EET time" might be the suitable ultimate limit), this is a good situation to use as an example. I have absolutely zero intention to try to shame anyone by saying this, but as this sort of things are causing extra work that is really essentially totally wasted time that could've used for essential tasks (and for RL things), I ask every participating manager to not do these kind of things (withdraw from league by ghosting/quitting keeping in touch and not doing their HGL routines during season and pre-season).
As said it always causes more work, and not just to me (although most to me of course) but to all managers who can't organize their matches as soon as expected, and need to remember to do that on time, which eventually leads to the situation where I have to worry about that if they have actually remembered to do that and if not, send reminders, etc. before we can even proceed to the phase where I can start verifying the whole schedule.
Sure, I understand 100% that people can get busy, that's life.
But when you play in such manually organized league (HGL), I think it's reasonable to expect managers to understand and remember (that's also mentioned in HGL rules/guide) there is going to be some amount of official contacts on official threads and possibly by BBMail, and response to those contacts is mandatory in some occassions.
But this isn´t decisive problem with BUC, I mean if he would've just done all things that he's supposed to do and not respond to my contacts, I would've accepted it this time and he could continue normally to Season 2 (but as we know, that hasn't been the case). Having said that, that certainly not something anyone should do though (quit being in contact with league Commissioner). Just as an example, basically no one of us could know if he would've only forgot to respond or had very hectic time in his life, or didn't want to use 12 tokens for S2, etc., but we couldn't ever know without communication.
And we won't change the whole league schedule now due to one team not willing to follow the procedures and need to secure our off-season timetable (we have 8 days until Season 2 starts and whole round of matches to be organized!).
So what can we take out of this? Please set reminders/alarms to yourself to the critical phases of the season, so that you remember to check official thread and your BBmail.
As a positive note and as a positive example, WiMaOlCa did this well this season, considering the situation: He knew it's going to be very hard for him to be well available during the match organization process, so he let me (and us) know on official thread about that. He is, however, taking time to organize matches, and while he hasn't had enough time to create box score post, he has also let me know about the situation and kept in contact (while being busy) and will release his box score post also as soon as possible (of which he has already given me a rough estimation).
Staying in regular contact, letting each other know of things in advance if possible, and negotiating if necessary, are the keys here, just as in so many things in life.
