Thank you, I had a feeling I forgot some replies (and your reply was so long ago that I didn't find it on my previous check today).

Very good decision, Coach Faz, and hats off for your excellent decision of never buying players... :)

Thanks Paul George, that's great to hear. It would've been a shock to some extent to lose a reigning Bronze medalist from our team roster - you also always seem to be able to put up a very competitive team on the court, even though your teams' top 8-salaries aren't on HGL's top3 currrently! :)
(EDIT: Bronze medalist, not Silver)

thank you
I think it was bronze

I tried to train secondaries to get rid of "holes" so it might be the reason that salary is not that high.
I also like to control salaries because I am drifiting between II and III league so I am not sure where I will be next season or two.
Soon I will be training primaries so salaries will increase more but a lot of HG teams made big salary upgrade this season.

Indeed, sorry for such a silly mistake - Bronze indeed. Writing these in a rush seemingly has some side effects occasionally... :D

Yes, that's a good point - not all skills are as valuable in terms of dollars (but can still benefit player/team considerably when getting upgraded).
Oh, I'd like to control my salaries (without compromising my goal of getting together 100 own draftees at a given time), but it's slighly challenging with this size of a roster... ;)

Yes, it's interesting to see how much (and how many) HG teams have been able to raise their salaries, season after season... so for me that tells that
A) managers are doing good job in maintaining/deleloping their HG(L) teams
B) level of HGL is getting higher and higher season after season,
of which both are very positive news.

Round 9 offered again some important and interesting games/results.

SUM-EOS 85-94:
Quite possibly (at least one of the) biggest win of EOS in it's HGL history, beating high quality opponent SUM by 9 (and leading no less than 30 before 4th quarter). At least for me this counts as a surprise win (at least to some extent), but being as clear win as it was (especially considering situation after 3 quarters of play), it's a great proof of strengthening of EOS team. Box score wise, no huge differences between these two teams, but EOS shot slightly better from the field, and was able to guess SUM's tactics perfectly.

LMS-VIV 129-114:
Both teams at 4W-4L before this important match, that almost turned into a free throw contest (25 and 38 attermpts) both teams took care of the ball well (4 and 5 TO's). LMS though shot bit better from the field (48 to 42%), and had an advantage of 9 rebounds in a match.

VPO-ED 102-82:
Had to include this match to report, as someone finally was able to score a three pointer against ED; they had a two game streak of 0 allowed 3 pointers! This was also a match of clinical free throw shooting: VPO 17/17 and ED 19/20.

HAD-LGM 93-81:
LGM was able to put up a very respectable fight against always strong HAD, and this was the smallest winning margin of the season for HAD. While it wasn't a tight match in terms of winning, we all know how strong team HAD is so these kind of performances also are worth noting sometimes. HAD was again very strong in rebounds (53-29 advantage) and in blocks (6-0), so even mishandling the ball 13 times (against 8 by LGM) and shooting worse behind the 3 point arc didn't cause HAD a loss.

KKS-TRO 109-82:
This was an offensive rebound show: 22-15 to TRO! Offensive flow was much higher on KKS's side though (ratings KKS's 9 to TRO's 5) and KKS had 37-11 assist to turnover ratio, while TRO's numbers were 17-17. KKS was also dominating in blocks (13 to 2) and in FG% (53 to 35%).

One crucial issue I've been having lately is that my scoring leader Maksimavičius was injured. Some really painful losses followed where I could have expected positive results with a full roster.

Finally, Maksimavičius is close to being healthy, and I hope that his form comes back as fast as possible for me to reach the PO stage!

Nice again. I can say that the quality of the league is improving and I'm happy about that. As for salaries, I'm not trying to control it. My team is financially well-off, I can easily spend more than a million on salaries and it won't hurt me financially.
