I'm here, also newly promoted to Heaven for the first time. I did it the hard way by actually winning the playoff though ;)

Last season I was 1 position training 3 21y olds for almost the whole season so the 18-4 record / top seed was a bit of a surprise. I've now sold one of those, but will continue training the 2 I've got left. At 22 they're not too vulnerable, but this is D1...it's still a handicap.

I've bought one new guard so far who is definitely D1 starting quality. Then the rest of my squad - I've got about 5 players I think I'd be happy as the 5th best starter on a good D1 team so we'll see how that goes considering 4 of them will be starting currently.

I was scouting a bit yesterday, and this season Heaven is 100% European which seems unusual (and 28% Spanish! Impressive. Other nations have a maximum of 2 teams)
Overall this means no silly 2am game times! :D Slight grumble at Atlantis Tigers 12pm/midday, I don't really like an early one either...

Ugh, that was a tough first week. I didn't even get my ticket prices right today (not too bad though, and this D1 income will be nice for a little while...)

After Saturday's loss I thought I'd at least have an easy win vs Atsilupėliai but nooo, they had to buy 3 starting players. On the upside: next week actually looks harder! I think I'll resist selling the whole team just yet though.

Ideal BB improvement: being able to sell or trade draft picks. I have 0 interest in the Utopia draft so don't invest...

On the other side - I'm very suprised by this weekend! Two wins against good teams with higher attitude? Can't imagine even better! It will help to stay in top4 in the conference in the end of the regular season. Still plenty games to go though.

Atsilupėliai will come to full force in next few weeks - so that means bad news for us

I think Norris is by far the favourite for this season. He's got 4 beasts and some good complementary players. I also see him making at least the round of 32 or 16 in B3.
