As I said in my last pre-election speech, that was my final mandate on the position of Island U21 NT coach.
It was a pleasure to work in your community. Together we achieved some very surprising results and have built a very strong team. We finnished on a 4th place in season 40 European championships, and managed to reach top 16 at the last season's consoltation tournament, both best results in Island U21's history. We managed to beat some very strong teams, such as Ukraine, Belarus, Argentina, Sweden, Finland, Slovenia, Austria, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Czech republic, Macedonia, etc.
Currently, Island is ranked #26 in the world, which means it will be seeded in pot 3 for the next European championships. The next generation is quite good, so decent results should continue. I will remain a fan of Island BB teams
