Hi everyone,

After 2 seasons spent in the dump, I'm back in my favourite league II.3 :D ! I see many new faces here and it's gonna be really hard for me to stay in the division (so maybe soon back in the dump LOL I'd deserve it if I'm not strong enough for you!). Indeed, so much competitive teams really well balanced and 2 or 3 top teams looking for BBBL (Angels, Minne, and....).

I will fight but I absolutely wanna train a few young players as well.

I open the pre-season discussions and let you debate about the favourites as you know well the team.

As far as I'm concerned, I'd bet on Antwerp Angels !

Good season everyone !

Welcome back Tom.

Antwerp Angels made a huge leap during last season so he definitely has a chance to promote.

Also good luck to everyone and have a great season

I understand now that it's because of the new relegation system. In every league of every country, the 6th vs 6th relegation game demote the looser to the lowest division of the country... BB had to fix the bug and re-mix all divisions !

There was a hug promotion demotion bug so they had yo rerun all of it. Because of that many teams have been promoted to a different division since the scrip for promotion is random generated.

And even though i made a huge leap, i'm still going to use this season for full time training. I have a SF whosr modelled after Belgiums best SF (sammy ackarts). Im looking forward yo thr new season. Best of luck to u all

Come on guys, we got to put some fire in the forums!

I'll openly say I'm going for champion, the difference between BBBL and DII is huge. Financialy and skill-levely...
And with the new demotion system things won't get better. (The rich keep getting richer... )

With playerwages you can not compete in BBBL, you are very strong in DII. The Minimum Player Salary has a difference for about $200.000 (if I'm not mistaken, please correct me if I am). Maybe something can be done here, but I'm not enough invested to make a full opinion about this (GM-AthrunZala maybe is).

Good luck to all managers this season

Good luck to all managers this season (y)

Best of luck to all the managers. Just like the previous season, i'm invested in training. Altho i must say, i'm surprised by the current results (especially since i'm leading the pack in my division without playing the players at their optimal positions!) i was expecting Angi to be challenging for top honors (lead by her NT PG) but i find myself in a bizar position.

i could easely bankroll 3 BBBL worthy players into my team, thus making promotion almost a certainty. but i'm invested into training atm, and the fact that i'm earning over 150k per week (cup not included) means that i have room for growth and room for extra salary should i want it.

I'm currently looking on the TL, but if i don't see what i want, for the price that i want, i won't be spending. I'm dealing from a wealthy position :P

as for the season. i'm expecting Kikaaz to go 22-0. However, since i know that Kikaaz is break even at best in terms of economy (or might even be losing some cash) his team won't get any younger. futhermore, the age of your core players is a concern. you will have to replace nearly all of them within 4 seasons time, meaning that you need to be saving cash (that while you are training youngsters).

the only way to break into the BBBL is to train youngsters to a BBBL lvl, and the moment they are about to hit a huge salary jump or near completion of their trainng, that is when you have to promote and spend big on a couple of players. that is the only way to stay in the BBBL. Very few teams understand that, and thus many teams just keep going up and down between the BBBL and II. it takes time and planning to stay up.

that is also the reason why Basketcats will be demoting right away this season.

Also, going up now without the ability to get some W's, means that your stadium income will suffer from it. Hence, it's even more important now to plan it out in advance long enough.

Anyone who wants to stay in the BBBL, needs the right trainees to get there and most importantly, there training programs needs to be compatible. There is a reason why i invested 4M in Kasperovich and why i've turned down 2 recent 10M bids for him.
