What to expect out of the league this season?

I just want to avoid relegation, and make lots of cash.

Cash looks easy. Relegation, more difficult to avoid when I lose winnable games by two points.

Now even the cash part will be more difficult as I lost to my rival from my last league in the first round of the cup. So there goes $50k/week.

Of course, the game also went to OT and probably;ly wrecked my GS.,

The good news is I don't have to worry about going winless.

I still have a long way to go to have any hope of not relegating.

It will be only one season in division III this time for me. Will have second choice in draft so hopefully I can at least get a good draft as a result of this unexpected promotion. Very interesting last round for Great 8 conference in the fight to avoid relegation. Crumb Cartoons have probably quite poor chances to win relegation game as they will finish 6th if they win so will they crunch and will that be enough to win last round? If Crumb Cartoons win the loser of Slovakia white rabbits and Malabama Twins will not even get a relegation game. Will that result in the teams crunching and risking relegation despite finishing sixth due to poor enthusiasm?

It is rare with such tight situation in last round and I don't know how I would have chosen to do. Either gamble and risk direct relegation or gambling and crunching, only to later see that it was not needed and that later it results in a loss in relegation game?

Good luck for all teams in both relegation and promotion fight! Might see you again in a few seasons once my team has been developed enough to challenge for the top.

hi, i think i'll finish 7th anyway. actually i'm counting on staying at div III due to my campaign if they take away the teams that went bot. i didn't expect to promote last season (lost in the finals), but bad luck the east was so much stronger this season. it will suck to be relegated again.

I thought I would be much more competitive with a potential MVP player leading the league in points and near the top in rebounds. My backcourt let me down and I should get the #3 pick. I'll probably have to screw up real bad not promote right back up with this front court but it was an eye opening experience to finally promote after almost two years playing Buzzerbeater.

Quite likely that most of us that relegate promotes back again straight away. It is very likely to be at least three teams per serie that promotes and even if more teams relegate to a serie it still should be just weaker and weaker as quite many second teams are likely to have been bots in higher divisions this season. But we will see once we get our new serie if it is that easy.

One very good player is not enough... A well balanced team is more efficient.

i find the team of Crumb Cartoons really impressive balanced, the whole team costs only 16,2 K over Stankovic. Unfortunately it was a little too low in the strong eastern conference.

And his Jean-Maxime Blanc is at the end the leader in points=)

Clearly. I learned a lot this season. I thought the team would be better and did not expect Stankovic to be that good individually. Also, the East was tough.

hey, man, thanks, that was the idea. i played the whole season with a roster with salaries equivalent to the salary floor. made some decent money apart from my small arena. i think i could have won at least 3 more matches but for 2 weeks in december i went travelling and my team played with the default lineup including scrimmages and this destroyed the game shape of my players. it also didn't help the east being so much stronger than the west. with 9-12 i could have made the playoffs in the west, now i'm facing relegation (hope not, counting on bot cleaning to remain at division III).

yeah, blanc is quite cool for a div III SF, I hope he does not decrease his skills quickly now he is turning 33.
