Hallo, Hello, Bonjour, etc etc.

Here we are, first season of Utopia: 16 Teams and a lot of competition.
What is the best strategy to the top? Training may be a good option to improve the team, but Trainers are a hot commodity and money is limited. The transfer market seems to have exploded as well.

This season should be interesting! It's going to be crowded at the top and efficiency is going to win the game!
There are 860+ teams right now and only 256 will be able to advance to Div. III.

Who is everyone, what are your goals? Introduce yourselves here!
As for myself, I am planning to sit back a bit and let everything play out for a few weeks to formulate a strategy.

Hey kr1shna,
I'm glad you started up this forum. I agree, its going to be really interesting watching everyone's strategy starting out. It seems like you have to spend the majority of your starting money to get a decent trainer so I might wait and see if the market for trainers cools in a week or 2. My strategy is targeting older players who are cheaper since funds are limited starting from scratch. I'm curious to hear everyone else's strategies.

Taking a look around, it looks like we have a pretty diverse league:

Three teams from Germany (DIII x2, DII)
Two from the US (DIV x2) and the Czech Republic (DII, DI)
And the rest being one each from:
Venecuela (I)
France (IV)
Finland (III)
Hungary (II)
China (IV)
Spain (II)
Turkey (II)
Taiwan (I)
Poland (IV)

Three teams from D.I, 5 from D.II, 3 from D.III and 5 from D.IV.

This is quite a challenging group. Will not be easy to be successful. The player who made the right moves and with the right strategy will be successful. Hopefully I'll be among those who winner. I wish you a healthy and gentlemanly season.

Hi, I'm glad to meet you guys here.

My strategy is targeting older players too.
In addition, I think the national tournament is very important. 50k for each winning game is helpful for economy.

yeahh i tototally agree with you that the national cup it's going to be very important to improve as a team very fast.

I completely agree with you. Thats why I decided to pickup a few players so I can hopefully win 2 or 3 cup games. Even if I overpaid slightly for my players, the extra cup game checks will more than compensate for that.
