no not neccesarily, in fact the rules state that how much you get for a domestic player is a function of his skill as well... equal skilled players you are gonna get more for a domestic, but at some point the superstar foreigner will add enough to the team's overall ability/fan spirit etc to be worth more than the domestic. Maybe we don't have that tradeoff point in the right spot, but i think the principle is correct.

Crying over 30k a month


Every dollar counts and is very important. And he crying not for 30k a month, but 45k a week.

Crydek didn't buy any domestic players and is now crying about it.


You don't have letter "F" in your keyboard or it's bad joke crying/Crydek? There were hardly any suitable czech players in last 2 seasons.

i agree that domestic players even if only average sell more jerseys than better foreign players, but only around their region.
frydek though should be a team that sells worldwide. they made it to the semifinals of bbb and have some of the best players off the world on their team. why would mello for example, a brazilian nt player with almost 100k salary as a pg, not sell his jerseys at least in brasil? the mavericks make quite some money with selling nowitzki jerseys in germany.

on the other hand is bb only in their 10th season and has some way to go to make the game more realistic while the main goal for the bbs will likely be to attract new users and make this a fun game for everyone from the beginning and i think nowadays its hard to run a new club, you hardly can afford players who are helpful. and starting the carreer with 15 domestic players might help to keep the new users
