They should just call it minimum player salaries lol. You have to have at least that much salary or you will pay that amount anyways.

$230k floor now? That's absolutely ridiculous. If I were to tank, I'd now be losing money over the next 2 seasons. These changes make this game impossible for young teams like me. I have put a hell of a lot of time into my team over my 4-5 seasons and now I can't do anything. I literally can not compete and tanking is a horrible strategy as well.

Yes, I agree. You are screwed because you weren't vocal enough on boards. And if you would you would be called whiner or crybaby. That's how the game is played these days.

How the floor affects you? I am not getting it.. Why cant you compete? Floor is one of the best features so far.

Well he's a good example why this feature is a good idea.

I wouldn't particularly want to tank. I would have out of necessity, and still plan to.

If you'd like to arbitrate and articulate a plan for me, you can. You do seem interested in this. I could hand you my financial details and you could tell me whether or not competing is practical or if tanking is a better solution. You're unaffected by these changes, I see that. I'm jealous. These changes were hastily done at best. It's putting a bandage on a broken leg.

No, he's a good example of why this feature is a bad idea.

Most people tank out of necessity, because they can't compete at the level they've been promoted to. All this does is lock them into a cycle of mediocrity.

Well you forbid having a copmpetitive roster only when it matters. It the team can't win more than just a few games and play to do a spurt for it in the second half of season - now such a team would have to keep quite an expensive roster (depends on particular league). Shame.

And your argument worries me - if someone would find a way (let's say so called realistic) to get ahead by good longterm planning, will you ban what he did and tweak the game so it would be fun for Joe average once again? I'm not necessarily speckaing about clubs but NTs as well.
