Good evening, guys!
The 3rd round of BBB is gonna happen on Wednesday and still there is no a topic about it!
Let's start.
The 3rd round has brought a nice battle.
6 BC Törööö 14.04.2010 Rad Devols 17

I suppose that a former BB-king will face one of the strongest possible opponents.
Russian BB-king Strashila was so kind to answer some questions.

Alex: Hello, Strashila. Tell us something about yourself. How did you appear in this game?
Strashila: My real name is Sergey, 32. Once I saw an ad banner whaile playing Hattrick.. I love basketball much more than football I was very curious and tried this game.
A: Well, if we look at the teams of this year's tournament.. Who's going to win BBB of the season 12, as for you? What do you think about korean Dragons Back with such an agressive transfers?
S: Khm, I think, Sharman Globetrotters deserves this tiurnament most of all.. It's not an easy question and last season's tournament confirmed it. What considers tha Dragons.. That's a very strong team. I suppose he will get to the late rounds this year..
A: And the last question of this short interview.. What is your dream player? I mean the one, that has the great skills for you and whose salary is not too big.
S: The player of my dream?.. The question is not so easy, that can seem at first. Some prefer hagh-salary begemots, others - an expensive SF. Different positions need different skills. But I love a SF, as he will bring a lot of benefit with low salary. I have a nice example of such a player: (3088498)

A: Good luck to your team! We hope to see the superb match!

Thanks to Strashila, who spared some time to answer these questions. I hope the Canadian opponent will also give some time to us. I hope it will be possible ti bring a tradition of weekly interviews with the strongest pair of the round in BBB.

Nice thread – that sure is a great match but this round has paired up many mouth-watering and intriguing match-ups – I like the Corgons v Samuraj match-up as well as Legends v Devils, then theres Abrantes v Larranaga… the Danes v Swedes… the all Italian clash…etc…etc….:p

BB3 – Latest Odds!

I'll downplay Strashila's kind words by claiming I'm too predictable an opponent this season. I'll flatter to deceive and eventually disappoint when I have to face off with one of my predictions below! I was going to do this when the Neutral court rounds kicked in but as there are many great teams that might not sadly get to the last 16 I’ll throw down some odds on a few teams… there are clearly many other capable teams and of course those that are cash rich that can enter the fray or destroy the aspirations of anyone else. Here’s 7 to get you started.

15-2F BC-Torooo – who else but the man to beat – has shown signs of weakness in recent PL games but I know that’s cos he’s not fielding his strongest team. When his SF trainees are 2 seasons older then we might as well chalk his name up for 4 more seasons in a row!!
9-1 ESV Laim - tough to retain (unless you’re jbm :D) – but they are going to be there or there abouts with a finely balanced efficient unit (where are they from again – ah yes,Germany!!!)
10-1 BK TUKUMS – trust me on this one; if the draw is kind next week then these guys are going final 4….minimum!
12-1 Los Dragones – More unknown to me but certainly no less feared.
12-1 Asingratitos BC – current numero uno. I got pummeled at his when we last met but would prefer a rematch (not away though!) with him than vs the guys above! Naturally one to avoid when the draw is made next week.
14-1 Dragons Back – I hinted these guys would be great last season and they didn’t disappoint. Deceiving world rank with a previous BB3 winner at PG don’t back against them improving on last seasons performance.
16-1 River Legends – I fancy them to win against last seasons beaten finalists and these guys won’t lie down for anyone. Good each way bet!

I feel like BC Törööö is going to win +5 - +10

what about Hostivar? Will the favourite "Push the Ball" bring success this time?

I think it will be higher than that...unless torooo plays with weaker lineup...
Hostivar is shaky right now...after losing to devils by 15 last season,i don't know what to think about him and his chances...

Now it's the time for jbmcrock to answer some questions. He is very busy but found some time to satisfy our curiosity.

A: It would be nice to read some words about one of bb-legends. How did you find this game? Anything interesting about yourself?
j: i really haven't had a lot of time to investigate a lot of these questions. i migrated over from hattrick back in the first season and have been playing ever since. nothing too interesting about me, but I have been moving around quite a bit over the years living in Canada, Nicaragua, Argentina, USA and now Brazil.

A: What abut this season's competition? What about the shocking transfers by Dragons Back?
j: I really haven't figured out who the strongest team is currently, the dragons have great perimeter players, not sure if that will be enough though.

A: Have you got any thoughts of a dream-player? What position is your priority?
j: No ideal dream players, but I am still trying to make dominant small forwards, but it is taking so much time!

One more interesting interview, one more interesting person.
Watch it today, exclusively on BB-tv, 16-00 CET.

Yeah. Seems the best managers want to develope SFs.. I think i was maybe the first ever who tried this with my Sopko (who hasnt trained for like 3 seasons and stil is competitive) but BBs ruined my strategy with implementing potentials (so he became Allstar). I cant imagine where he would be if he were superstar.. He has 117 skills.. I have to confirm training SF is soo slow but its worth it..

I suppose allstar potential is pretty enough to make a well-balanced sf.

I killed 1 season while making sf from.center. Now i have almost ideal pf for 100k salary. My ambitions stopped me of further training as pg :(

well you can have well balanced SF for 6k. if we talk about key players for NT and B3 i cant agree with that..

I also agree with zajino, for a SF an allstar potential is too low. Also the SF's well-trained are going to be the future of this game.

Thank you sir... not that it would've mattered against Torooos Tremendous Inside scoring!!!

Awesome Prolific High OD from Heathens on the road in the last match from GM/BB-Mike and plenty of other great ratings out there throughout the day too.
