Season 45...a look back...a look forward.

All things considered this season represented a move forward. Overall counting our scrimmages the final record was 8-6 and it could have just as easily been 10-4. And this represents the first plus .500 season since season 40. I know khenry thinks scrimmages should not hold sway towards the overall record, and that is especially true on the club level. But I've noticed that on the NT and U21 level pride is much more in play. Now it was not like we knocked off a murderers row to attain this mark, but I did schedule opponents during our run of friendlies that were of a similar level of talent, and it was a very engaging and may I say entertaining sojourn. Every game was close and high scoring, if you can't win all the time at least have a good time !



Seven players will age out after this season but 10 active players return and 6 of those will only be 20 in season 46, two will be 19 and only two will be 21 and several of these players are advancing quickly. The numbers are small but there are quality managers building players with real potential and it will be exciting to see how they advance. I hope this community will afford me the privilege of doing so!
