La deuxième saison de mon mandat à la tête des U21 algérien a commencé par un repêchage pour les mondiaux. Trois matchs et trois défaites pour commencer la saison, sans surprise, on se dirige donc comme prévu tranquillement en consolante. Malgré mon combat contre cette règle (à lire ici) [message=280016.1 ], nous commençons la consolante à 0/2. Mais dans notre malheur, le hasard du calendrier se montre très favorable avec nous. Nous gagnons nos deux premiers matchs en Bolivie et à domicile contre le Panama. Deux défaites -12 contre le Chili et -16 contre l'Autriche suivent. Nous profitons ensuite du forfait de la Moldavie et on finit avec une superbe victoire à domicile contre la redoutable Malaisie ! Nous terminons donc cette consolante avec 4 victoires et 2 défaites, une grande performance pour notre nation. En rajoutant nos deux défaites initiales à cause du repêchages, nous terminons avec un bilan 4/4 +74 et une super 40ème place. Je tiens à vous rappeler qu'on avait perdu tous nos matchs lors de la précédente consolante. La bonne nouvelle est que nous accueillerons la prochain championnat d'Afrique. Une nouvelle aventure commence la saison prochaine avec l'objectif de protéger notre avantage du terrain.

The second season of my mandature as the head of the Algerian U21 began with the word repechage. Three games and three losses to start the season, no surprise, it therefore runs as expected quietly to the consolation. Despite my battle against this rule (read here) [message = 280016.1], we start the consolation tournament with 0/2. But in our misfortune, the calendar is very favorable to us. We win our first two matches in Bolivia and at home against Panama. Two defeats against Chile -12 and -16 against Austria follow. We then take advantage of the forfeit of Moldova and we end with a superb home win against the formidable Malaysia ! We finish this consolation with 4 wins and 2 losses, a great performance for our nation. By adding our two initial defeats because of repechage, we finish with a record 4/4 +70 and a great 40th place. I remind you that we lost all our games in the previous consolation tournament. The good news is we will host the next African championship. A new adventure begins next season with the goal of protecting our home advantage.
