Our first season in BBBL has been very gruelling. Training Fradet and Naarits efficiently and staying in BBBL were the main 2 goals. And today, we can proudly say those goals have been more than reached!
Fighting to avoid relegation became of course easier with SSS decision to go down, yet the battle has been intense till the very end with such good opponents as Pokola and Mumu were.
What can we expect for the upcoming season? Ventola and Phoenix will likely compete for the conference top spot. Behind them it seems open, even if Boes and Tienen have the best chance to clinch the last two playoffs spots thanks to their experience. Thus, it seems we could aim at the 5th place again, but it might certainly be Mumu, Liege and Vilvoorde's wish as well!
This season, AmenRa is also very proud to welcome 2 young first-rate belgian talents: Aimeric Mertens and Ronald Van Der Haeghen. Training will be of course focussed on Fradet & Van Der Haeghen (and Naarits or Mertens). There are now 10 belgian players in our 12-player roster! Probably a BBBL record.
Soon The Ténèbres Arena will probably reach his maximum capacity with 20002 seats (sorry for that Mizu :-))
Congratulations to Vottem on his 5th BBBL title in a row but now time has come for rebellion ! I wish everyone a good season !
