Dead Even After 4 Games

The Gremlins started the new season at 2-2 with a PD of 1 which is deceiving. Like BlazingSharks they played against Halibut and Skillz very early in the season. Skillz shocked Gremlins by playing crunch against them or the outcome would have been different. As it was Gremlins out rebounded Skillz 65-47 and held MVP Jozef Wawoczny to 6 points and 4 rebounds.

A pleasant surprise has been the play of center Daniel Ramos. Despite playing against 3 of the best centers in Alaniz, Brantley, and Conway, Ramos is second in the league in rebounding. He will be given Saturday off against The Americans and be fresh to play Tuesday against BlazingSharks whose center Goitia leads the league in rebounding. That game will be Daniel Ramos bobblehead night.

Blast, I should have read this press release before I picked your team to beat the Americans on Saturday. I agree that your 2-2 record is deceiving and the Gremlins are one of the elite teams in either conference. Last year the Great 8 was the more competitive conference, but I think the tables are turned this year so far... looking at the ratings.

I don’t think that this makes a major difference because The Americans will play Saturday without their best player Fred Maghee due to an injury.
