Hi everyone,

I've been playing this game for a couple of seasons and not really committed to it all the time. This season I've decided to jump in a bit more and work on my team and arena.

So my question is, what is the "best" way to improve my arena?

How many seats at a time? How often should I raise prices?

Thank you in advance.

Matt

Well you seem to be sellling out your entire arena every game so I would put prices up a little bit right now across the board.

I take the approach that I want to sell maybe 90% of my seats and set prices accordingly. The seat priceing changes take effect immediately so if you mess up it will only be for a game anyway. You need to build seats in every category so I would just pick one category and spend whatever you have on as many seats as you can - then move to the next section. It all comes down to how much cash you have.

Others may have better suggestions but I would take a look at the design of the top teams in the country and try and match their arena configurations. This will take a loooooong time but needs to be done to maximize your earnings.

When you promote you get a (quite large) bonus in attendance for the first half of the season so be sure to bump prices up (even more than the other teams in the new division) when you move up a division.

I over built my arena when I started before I understood how it worked, but as a consequence it has allowed me to observe areas that seem to cap out (because I can't really sell them out bleachers).
Generally you won't sell more than 23,000 even in big games, my biggest crowds have been around 23,500 when playing in a final.
You will have 550 of your top two types of seats, so the question becomes what to do with the other 22,000 to 23,000 seats.
I have 6,600 Lower Tier, I get close to selling that out in bigger games but I have plenty of space in pricing, so I would suggest at most 6,000 to 7,000 Lower tier seats, which leaves you aiming for about 15,000ish Bleachers.
If I was starting over now I think I would aim for a final build of 16,000 bleachers, 7,000 Lower Tier, 500 Courtside and 50 corporate boxes and then, as previously stated, adjust the pricing to try to ensure I'm selling roughly 90-95% of each category most weeks.
