Second Team:
Stamford Snow Leopards
I've enjoyed this season. I've surprised myself with some of my wins too - I've definitely outperformed my salary compared to other teams.

Did pretty well in the playoff game yesterday I think, just couldn't overcome the home advantage (needed some more points...) and game shape (I prefer to train my young guys a week longer than go for promotion I guess ;) ) Good win though starswept. You might be the new promotion favourite (two 4 - 1 upsets! They were upsets too I think not just in rank..)

Selling a few of my older guys so might look a bit different next season, we'll see...Hopefully different and also stronger :)

Good game Bergkamp

This has certainly been the most competitive league I've participated in so far. Lots of surprises in that first round, including my own win. Good luck going forward, everyone (except against me).

Cheers all.

Considering I was 0-6 against the other three Big 8 playoff teams (losing by an average of 16 points) my win over Sisego was definitely an upset.

Congratulations Starswept.

However, it would have been a very different game had your starting PG, Phillip Springer, not injured both my starting PG and backup PG in a span of 1:37 in the 4th quarter. That changed the outcome of the entire game and killed my chance at the upset.

I'm actually surprised he didn't get a second flagrant foul when he injured my backup PG. At least that would have made things a bit more even if he'd gotten DQ'd as well.

Springer is a dirty dirty player for sure.

It was a good game. Probably see you next season here again. You can take your revenge then.

Red side only gets one win in inter-conference play. Weak sauce ;)
