Once again, welcome to season 14. This forum is an attempt to start a community here in D.III.2, filled with discussion on big games, questions and answers, and thoughts/reactions towards the outcome of games or the outcome of the season. Feel free to post here anytime (hopefully not for anything childish). Ill be checking on this frequently to try and keep this community active. Good luck to all, happy posting.

Ill be working on a post about my initial reaction to this season. Possible winners, playoffs, and games to watch out for. This post will take some time, although I hope to have it posted tonight or tomorrow morning.

Initial Thoughts

Well as my first post I thought I would put up an initial thoughts post. Just some things I observed in so far.

BIG 8 – The big 8 this season seems similar to last season, as in, it seems just a weak. The Big 8 consists of many teams just promoted into D.III and some teams who avoided relegation. The competition should still be tough, with any team having the possibility to making the playoffs. Should be interesting to watch teams battle it out to stay out of the bottom. The opportunity is there, who will take control?

Playoff prediction

1. The Dream Shakers
2. Porter!
3. Toronto/Ghana heavenly ballers
4. north of the border chub

GREAT 8 – Once again, very similar to last season, only 2 new teams. Many teams have been here for quite a few season and are looking to get out. Unless there are any surprises the conference should look the same as the previous seasons. Last season, while almost all teams were within a few wins of each other, any thing can happen, a single loss could be the difference between relegation and playoff contention. With everyone’s eyes on the playoffs, some will be disappointed.

Playoff Prediction

1. Budweisers
2. Scarborough Stampede
3. jeansdoes
4. Maulers

Promotion favourites:

This season the 3 teams with the highest possibility of promotion would be

The Dream Shakers – Budweisers – Scarborough Stampede

Without any relegated D.II team, the opportunity is there for all 3 of these teams, The season will now be about which team can overcome the others when it matters.

Ill use this post on the forum to keep track of the overall standings, Though not very important now, it may be a good thing to keep track of as we get closer to the end of the season when you are concerning yourself with draft picks and playoff runs/ promotion opportunities.

2. Dream Shakers
3. Scarborough Stampede
4. Toronto Leafs
5. Porter
6. Jeansdoes

Hey, this is my second season in this div, 3rd season overall. Made the playoffs last season but was outclassed by dream shakers. I think it could be repeated this season! They are probably the best in the div at this stage. good luck to all
