As a new NT team manager for a micro-nation I believe the current format is fine. And removing the ! will hurt micro nations mabey even causing no one to vote. I think the problem is the national team election form should be more accessible to the casual user. This would allow the average user to become more easily informed about the candidates running. So I agree that a rework is needed im candidate information but not one that hurts managers ability to vote.

There is a rule which states that one "cannot buy players previously or currently owned by (their) other team."

This is a fine rule which prevent cheating but there could be an exception to disable the rule under some conditions such as:

- if the player is free agent

or a more restrictive condition:

- if the player is free agent and no other teams have bid on the player
