This is not a question about having faith in Marin or not, I simply thought at least something would have been done.
Not necessarily equal, not necessarily fair for everyone, cause the options on the table were unknown. But thinking that there would have been no action at all was not an option I really considered. Starting from this, I don't see too many chances why crunching "surely" was so clearly the better choice.
