And is that because of the way the GE works, or because almost everyone has low SB? Does it occur more often with higher SB? If they fix it so it happens significantly more often with high SB, that would make it good enough to defend against LI guards right?

Generally speaking, we will need more IS. But what we really might need with SB soon to work better, is a tactic change.

However, this is not an option for us who are training players especially for LI. In our case, increasing IS is an option, as is increasing driving, and probably handling. I'm not sure, really. We are only speculating here.

Can someone provide a link to where it is stated that SB will be move valued in the GE? I was debating running a cluple trainings on SB because my A-trainee and B-trainees all have low SB. If it is going to be more valued i'd definitely like to get a couple pops for my trainees.

This might sound crazy, but I think some changes have already been made. Lately, I have seen some good examples of 2-3 working against LI.

Furthermore, I think outside tactics are also working a bit better. I might be wrong, these are just observations of my league.

Many here question the validity of SBing right now.
I say it is just fine folks. Why do I say that? Because I run a 3-2 zone alot, and my bigs on that zone as/5 with being good natural defenders are high shot blockers. Why are they getting high numbers of SBs?
Because everyone is playing LI. The driving options that are not mentioned too much in that offense provides opprotunities for the SBer to do his thing. In my leauge I lead in this category by a large margin, 8+ a game and wa a staple of my defensive structure. The shot blocking altered shots, contesting everything that went inside. In man 2 man defenses you will see the double team help that SBing provides, but if your opponant has a high skill set, in the m2m you may not see it. As it stands right now with the game engine...this tactic works again provided you have boss big men on defense to begin with......if you don't you can't ruin this defense against LI......you big men will just foul out.
