Man, you are so wrong on so many levels...and I am ok with that; everyone is entitled to their opinion, no matter how wrong can it be. If you think the grass is pink, that's fine with me; just don't try to convince me into that.
What is bothering me a lot is you are putting thoughts in other people's minds. Everytime a top team writes something against your proposals, you are accusing them they are against it solely because your changes would affect them the most. As one user before me said, you have to be the most frustrating user here. But let me tell you of a similar game that had a "simpler version" which never really lift off.
There is a card game, called Magic: the Gathering and I had been playing it for more than 10 years. It's quite complex and the learning curve is way steep; the difference in knowledge and experience between top players and beginners was so VAST it turned down a lot of newcomers. Those who stayed and didn't want to compete on highest level though could play "casual Magic" - multiplayer and between friends instead of Grand Prixes and Pro Tours. And everyone were happy.
Then they released a simpler game for kids...wait for it, you might have hear about it... Pokemon! It is a bit like M:tG, but much much simpler (I tried that too). What happened? You could master the game in few weeks and there existed only 2-3 great decks that costed a ton of money to acquire. Needless to say, Pokemon was a big hit that lasted a few years. Magic is now 15 years old and only growing and growing.
I hope you are not blindsided by your anger towards all people who are proving you wrong and will see the analogy here: BB is like MtG: you can play on top level (D.I), but it takes time; if you don't want that, you can train U21 and NT players, or you can become a supporter and find your cup of tea in Private leagues. Of course you can't compare BB and MtG on financial levels (winner of a Pro Tour gets $30.000, but you have to invest a lot to come to that title), but the rest is here.
What you would like to have is a Pokemon game; instant gratification. And after you win your D.I, then what?? People would get bored quickly because it would be much simpler to win.
I think of myself as a decent manager; not the best there is, but a decent one. I could promote much faster, but I chose to put training of U21 players before my team's goals. Despite that, I managed to go from D.IV to D.II playoffs in four full seasons in a 700-team country and in two seasons, I could be in D.I if it wasn't for training NT SFs out of position. So how can you say this league isn't competitive? The more users a country has, the harder and longer it take to come on top. Compare top athletes in athletics coming from USA with ahletes coming from Spain or Poland or Israel, for that matter. Do you want to tell me USA athletics is not competitive because it takes so much effort to come on top there? Please...
