You keep going on and on about one conference in one top division. What about all the other top divisions?

One of the reasons is that Canada is very weak in this game and has only 430 users.
Israel which is a very small country has 915.

How many old teams are part of the canadian BB teams is something that can be verified, but you can trust that this is one of the main reasons.

This will also imply that you will not be able to compete against teams from the same division from larger BB nations.

BTW, you know how did I know that I need to look at this information?
I looked at your TL, and didn't see something that looked like great investments (I mean expensive players and not that you have invested poorly).
Getting to an promoted with that type of players means that the competitors had not been to good.

You have to be the most frustrating user in the game, you make ridiculous proposals and suggestions and you defend them to death....

LOL... (about the second part).
Yes, I know that when I know that I'm right I have the stamina of Superman (or something like that)... :+) :+) :+)

This proposal is not ridiculos.
And I explained it, as you said, (much) more than once.

As you didn't respond to anything that I've wrote, I'll end this message here.
Or not...
:+)

Just go and investigate the others.
Believe me that in the end the story will be one of the two stories I've brought at the openning of this thread.

1) A league that conatins only teams from a very old season (like the Bundesliga "great 8").
2) A league where teams from those old seasons just left the game.

In the case of canada I found another "story".
Canada has only 430 active users which is very few.
As such, it is easier to get promoted there to a quite high league in short time.
In addition, it means that those teams will have problem competeing against those who are from the parallel teams in a other BB nations.

My answer will be splitted this time, as I'm gonna go sleep in a short time.
On my second part I'll focus on your league.

This part will be a more general one.

1) I would sugget that you will look on where went the older teams.
You will see that most of the chances is that they just left the game...

2) Will a good manager with more money do much more than one with the same skills but with less money?
The answer and its implications are clear.

3) Does a user who played longer will have more assets (more expensive players, more seats, etc.)?
Easy answer as well.

4) How come the "great 8" conference in the german Bundesliga had not a single team newer than season-4?
Can it be that all the great managers are from those first four seasons and none from the next 13 seasons?
Here the easy answer is no. It happened only due to this great money advantage.

5) Does an older team has a long-term plan (in this system) like a newer user?
No - they already got to their top arena size, they cannot train a fresh player from start, and they have to much money to do that.
There mainly looking for the most expensive players, and just play "eBay game".
Then, they arange the line-up, and here it ends.

6) An asset-reset every few seasons (about 5-6) will make it a more live game and one that will have less users who will leave it.

7) A cap (mainly soft-cap) will make the richer teams pay for their welth and by that the poorer can get closer to them and compete.

8) A sudden carreer-ending-injury, will do something very similar to what I've wrote about the soft-cap, as the richer teams have more expensive players to lose.

No, it does not destroy it.
The teams that started on those early seasons are at the same state - no change on seats, etc.
Even a marathon ends after 42 KMs, and a new one starts afterwards.

You will bother doing the same, as it doesn't mean that it will be reset each seasons.
Let's say that teams on DIV-I does not bother of training players from scratch.
They are no longer planing which seats to built, when, and on what expense.
This points that the marathos had long ago ended.

This is not a marathon, it's basketball so allow me to use a more realistic comparison. Tell me, at which point in time will the NBA reset?

I already gave two examples of leagues that I have checked.
I'm not going to take a look on another.

What you are basicaly suggesting is to play monopoly after one side already has the all city in his hands. And for several seasons.
What is the fun in that?
How is it competative?

You don't have to take a look at another. I'll tell you the details.

This season saw the rise of a team which was started in season 7 to the top. Like I said, all it takes is proper long term planning to get to the top, old team or new team. Look at Australia as well. Focusing on one or two league suggests something, but cannot be used as proof.

Man, you are so wrong on so many levels...and I am ok with that; everyone is entitled to their opinion, no matter how wrong can it be. If you think the grass is pink, that's fine with me; just don't try to convince me into that.

What is bothering me a lot is you are putting thoughts in other people's minds. Everytime a top team writes something against your proposals, you are accusing them they are against it solely because your changes would affect them the most. As one user before me said, you have to be the most frustrating user here. But let me tell you of a similar game that had a "simpler version" which never really lift off.

There is a card game, called Magic: the Gathering and I had been playing it for more than 10 years. It's quite complex and the learning curve is way steep; the difference in knowledge and experience between top players and beginners was so VAST it turned down a lot of newcomers. Those who stayed and didn't want to compete on highest level though could play "casual Magic" - multiplayer and between friends instead of Grand Prixes and Pro Tours. And everyone were happy.

Then they released a simpler game for kids...wait for it, you might have hear about it... Pokemon! It is a bit like M:tG, but much much simpler (I tried that too). What happened? You could master the game in few weeks and there existed only 2-3 great decks that costed a ton of money to acquire. Needless to say, Pokemon was a big hit that lasted a few years. Magic is now 15 years old and only growing and growing.

I hope you are not blindsided by your anger towards all people who are proving you wrong and will see the analogy here: BB is like MtG: you can play on top level (D.I), but it takes time; if you don't want that, you can train U21 and NT players, or you can become a supporter and find your cup of tea in Private leagues. Of course you can't compare BB and MtG on financial levels (winner of a Pro Tour gets $30.000, but you have to invest a lot to come to that title), but the rest is here.

What you would like to have is a Pokemon game; instant gratification. And after you win your D.I, then what?? People would get bored quickly because it would be much simpler to win.

I think of myself as a decent manager; not the best there is, but a decent one. I could promote much faster, but I chose to put training of U21 players before my team's goals. Despite that, I managed to go from D.IV to D.II playoffs in four full seasons in a 700-team country and in two seasons, I could be in D.I if it wasn't for training NT SFs out of position. So how can you say this league isn't competitive? The more users a country has, the harder and longer it take to come on top. Compare top athletes in athletics coming from USA with ahletes coming from Spain or Poland or Israel, for that matter. Do you want to tell me USA athletics is not competitive because it takes so much effort to come on top there? Please...

Please, gain your own experience before you make such a suggestions. You have played just 2 full seasons, first one you promoted from Div IV to Div III and another one you avoided relegation from Div III.
Focus on your own team with current conditions of the game, work hard and as soon as you find out that your are working for several season harder than your opponents that started earlier, come again and share with us your experience. Instead of trying to change the game you should be looking for advices how to play well current game. And if you find this game boring, unfair etc., find another game which will fit you more.

I have benn here from season 3, I won B3, I won European Championships with our NT, I won many times league and cup. But I have been still learning and finding new ways how to improve my team both economic balance of my team and finding new setups for using game engine as well as possible.
The main difference between users started e.g. in season 5 and 12 are experience that they could gain as one of them has been playing 2 years longer. Many users have to make some mistakes in first few seasons that help him later to play the game better.

Few seasons ago I thought there is quite big disbalance between income in Div I and Div II, but nowadays with drop of prices in TL I think there is much bigger chance to avoid relegation for promoted teams.
