Thanks for the scouting assistance. 3 of those players have been in the squad at one point or another, but at this stage all four of them have at least a couple of guys slightly ahead of them in their spots at the moment. If I could carry an endless amount of players in the squad I would add them, but realistically they are not likely to get game time this season unless we get big drops in game time or injuries to those guys that are ahead of them right now.

But I’m always happy to get some input!

I guess he means in real life a sports agent markets his client to get them better deals. So by this guy marketing players as being NT worthy he is acting as their agent.

All good mate, never assumed you guys did. He’s probably just a Good Samaritan helping out where he can. Or he’s auditioning for a NT managers role and laying some ground work with some scouting. Who knows. Either way, it’s a free world, so I don’t mind if anyone sends me tips or advice, however on this occasion I’m going to politely disagree with him. Good luck for the rest of the season. Shout out if you ever want a scrimmage. We could make it like an Anzac thing. Or a Chappell Hadlee thing.

It's getting down to crunch time now.
A solid win this weekend has us back in the top-32 and playoff contention and with two games to go it is now ours to lose, but realistically with it being so tight we need to win both of these games. If you have a player in the squad or a player knocking on the door of the squad I really have to stress - GAME SHAPE! Some regular guys have been a little up and down over the last month but we have a little bit of depth there so to give us the best chance in these two games I'll be looking for a line up of guys in the best possible shape.

We have Indonesia this coming week - they are a team that has to be respected and have shown in the past they can pop up for big games and surprise higher ranked sides. Following that we have Austria - also no pushover.
At this stage I think we are the second ranked Asian side in the Consolation Cup, behind Philippines, so if we can hold on for a spot in the playoff bracket we're a good chance of earning hosting rights for next season's Asian Cup. Let's make this happen team!
