If you end up dropping down just focus on training for a while. I personally think the most fun part of this game is training yet at the top level you have to do less of it. Save some money and come back up!

Congrats on the win mate!

Funnily enough, I truthfully didn't expect to lose in the semi-final of the Cup due to the DMI discrepacy in my favour, so was keen to see how VallyBoyz would stack up against you to gauge if I even had a chance. So I was also surprised by the score.

Still, you had by far the best of the 4 rosters left in the copetition out of the semi-finalists, so congratulations on a deserved tournament win.

I really didn’t feel great about tanking but simply decided I couldn’t beat you. I made an error in putting my lineup together for the season and found it too hard to correct.

In hindsight, I should’ve just had a crack and get that it shouldn’t be like that in the semi and in particular the final, so I do apologise for that.

Is a learning experience for me but was just trying to manage my team in the best way I could, rightly or wrongly.

In any case, as mentioned, I think you have the best team and certainly deserved to win so congratulations and good luck for the playoffs!

I'm sorry to hear about your circumstances, and hope you get through all the real-life troubles. After all, it's just a game, and it's okay to lose your enthusiasm time to time. You can always drop down, farm some money, do a long-term rebuild and just set reminders to log on once per week until you're ready to give it more energy again...would be a real shame to see your team disappear otherwise, so hopefully you're still keen enough to keep going with it.

Not that deep...

I had forgotten to set my lineup in the previous league game(s) and my game shape was already terrible...
Wouldn't make sense over playing my starters for a game I didn't think I had much of a chance in due to my GS even with Balev's injuries.

I overplayed my players in previous weeks to get there but thought it wasn't worth the hole I would have to myself out of if I had played my players in that final. Given my position in the standings I'm not exactly in a position to continue giving up games over the next couple of weeks in league games due to my bad GS

I do apologise because I understand getting to the finals is highly sought after and I had the opportunity and didn't give it a crack, so I can understand frustration for other users, especially those that I beat.

I don't think you need to apologise to anyone. It's your choice how you play the game.

It is interesting to learn some come to the decisions they make.

Oh no need to apologise mate, you got there fair and square, and it's entirely up to you. I do think you had maybe a 30-40% chance of victory given Koala's injury, but it's understandable you didn't want to drop a league game or risk further gameshape deterioration for it.

The Big 8 is looking tight. Usually the 8th place auto relegation is decided by now but not this season.
