His potential is only allstar, and he might be capped. You might want to buy a trainee who has superstar or better potential next time :/

At 20 years old, he should not be capped. I have another Allstar player with double the salary and almost 20 more total skill points, so that is not a factor. I have a Star player with more salary and total skill points on the roster as well. It is as if he is not getting any of the training.

As stated in the past, players of any potential level should be able to train for their U21 team. By that logic, I do not need a superstar or better potential player to get pops at 20 years old.

Some skills cost more towards both salary and skill caps.

I have a PG that has 110 TSP and is not capped but a PF/C with 92 who hasn't popped despite 1v1 training all season.

If you load up a player with skills that carry a big weight on his skills cap he'll hit that cap sooner with less TSP.

Edit: Both players in my example have Perennial All-Star potential.

I have been focusing on 2 primary training skills, while mixing in a session of a secondary training skill every few weeks. In the last 5 weeks, he has trained IS-ID-PA-IS-ID in that order. I get that he did not pop in PA, as his size makes that training take some time. However, IS and ID should have popped. He began the year with 2 pops at IS with 2 trainings for that and 2 pops at ID with 3 trainings for that. Simple math tells me that he should have popped like I expected.

My 20 year old 7'1" PF has only 81 TSP at Allstar. My Allstar PG has 96 TSP. The PF has inside skills of 12-12-11-10. None of those seem high enough to trigger a cap.

With only All-star potential those skills absolutely can trigger his cap.

If you aren't using it already, please check out (http://www.buzzer-manager.com). You can get a good idea of exactly how close he is through there.

Considering the trainings you gave, he might have been low in ID and IS and will very likely pop next ID/ IS training provided he isnt capped.

If you change trainings you cant expect caps every week or two (and even if you dont that is often)

I've sent you a BB-Mail since I know his complete skillset. He's at 90-100% capped. I was wondering the same thing when he stopped popping a few weeks back.

I once had a team with 1757 players and was $25,835,360 in debt. This is not that team. Join the Discord group open to anyone, but especially for USA managers to improve your club or get involved with the U21 and NT programs (https://discord.gg/cKpNkt2).

It's perfectly normal for a 20yo to not pop after 2 training weeks of 1 type. If you trained 1 type 5 weeks in a row without a pop you could say he is capped but now it could just be low sub level after last pop and now at high sub level.
