I agree, the all star game is a joke. But then so is the all star game in reality. Especially in sports where they give fans a vote.

In real sport I always disagree with the players chosen for the all star game, and here in buzzerbeater I get to grumble about it too.

I agree players should have played at least half ot the games leading up to ASG in order to be eligible.

Second very good point you have is leading managers of each conference should pick the tactics of the game. That would be fun, realistic and would add more to ASG week than just a "damn, that's that week my training schedule always get screwed".

Maybe you can write this to the sugestión forum and a EGM look this.
I think that is a very good idea! Something similar happen in my league. Althought, i have a player who is the most scorer of the division and its not in the asg...

So much fun things to do with this all star game:

-U21 game: only needs 5 players from each conference and playing 4x6 minutes for exemple; to see who are the next rising stars of our leagues ?

PLEASE, elect a MVP for those kind of games !

-skills challenge: players chosen with the best turnover/assists & interceptions ratio...

-slam dunk contest ? ...But how to procede ? ???

...and those other ideas you talked about before guys are cool! ;)

Sure it would be fun.

Instead of that, I have no one in the 3pts challenge, and no all star as well... no reason to come in the all star game.

Just checked, note that I train 3 players 48 minutes, single position every week.

My trainee is starting at SG despite having been trained at C in all but 2 weeks and playing fill up minutes at SG. My other trainee is starting at C (same story). My starting C who played all but 2 games at PF is backup to my trainee at C.

Go figure

I like it, but it could be difficult and useless....
So my idea is to give an economic reward (20/30k) for each player who will play in ASG.

In reality it happens exactly so.... the players of great team go to ASG!
It could be a way to boost teams to build strong teams and not tanking.
