Interesting You tubes but I dont know that lil'penny fits the image.

Interesting pictures of Sid on google images.

Entertaining read the wikipedia article on Sid

As for having an interesting playoff series, due to the size of my investments, Im kind of relying on promotion to address the excessive salaries that are now on the HA roster.

That said Im still looking for one more acquisition

We aren't active on forum but more active on the chat. Normally we get a minimum of 5 people with up to 8~10 online at once...

Well done on the win Whitebeard, for example after the PL finals last night C-Car, Red, Dire and I chatted for at least an hour while we pointlessly waited for the training pops.

Some more interesting results tonight with PNR using tie and dropping the game against MR who have now won 2 on the trot and take on BT in a game that could determine who takes 4th spot, or who goes into relegation playoffs.

A loss for BT could mean disaster as he faces PNR which should be well positioned with motivation to be a telling point for that game.

SVM looks to have sewn up a playoff spot thanks to a strong margin and favourable draw to finish the season while EGG looks like he could fall into the relegation zone with a tough matchup with GT softened only by the previous weeks matchup with the Saintstars.

For mine, at the moment i'm tipping the following final standings in the Big 8:

1. GT
2. HA
3. SVM
4. MR
5. PNR
6. BT
7. EGG
8. SS

I can see each of SVM, MR, PNR and EGG winning one of their next two with BT and SS to lose both of their games, and GT and HA winning both.

BT's margin should see him finish ahead of EGG.

That is an interesting analysis of yours MR .(hence i rated it)

From memory HA have PNR & MR in the last 2 games.

HA will assumably have less wins than GT, DAS & SVM even if they were to win both of these games, therefore the management of game minutes and the prevention of injuries for key players in addition to the conservation of enthusiam and opportunity to gain training minutes, might all become more of a motivating factor in these games than trying to bury either team into submission. (Likewise for GT who have top spot sewn up even if they were to lose both games)

It might also be that teams might intentionally lose games so that they can come 7th instead of 6th.

Other teams in the relegation & 4th fight, might TIE in games rather than risk losing enthusiam trying to win, incase they do end up in relegation games

There is a theory widely banded around the traps that if you cant win a final your better off financially to finish 5th rather than 4th so that you save on players salaries.

Could we have teams deliberatly trying to lose games so that they finish 5th rather than 4th?

Given the nature of the past few weeks where the ladder has been getting progressively tighter, is it possible that we could have 5 teams finish equal on 12 wins?

I should not be surprised any more when BB screws with me... my best player gets injured in a must-win game, I should've seen that one coming.

1/3 income of a gigantic arena + one extra game to train players and the fan satisfaction the following year make the playoffs worth a few cash losses imo.

It's been a long time I've started guessing the final results and I came up with your current rankings 3 games ago. However, now I have to take something else into consideration: some teams will give up and spare enthusiasm in order to get more chances in the relegation series. Some teams will try to avoid each other and lose on purpose. Your rankings show what should happen based only on the teams' performances, but now it's time to start mind games.

On another note, Chucky is a bummer and SBV is making stupid moves. GT will most likely be the strongest team next season, depending on who relegates. I heard D3 teams are praying not to land in our division!

Valid question?

Perhaps a translation error on his behalf.

So whats the plan my fellow III.4 combatant, are you going to throw this next game against Saintstars and brace your team for a fight against the Jerries or are you still aiming for finals glory?

I do I agree with PNR on SBV.

Judging on their recent transactions they seem to have lost a bit of purpose.

Err sorry, I thought "bummer" means something like "unlucky"... but obviously I've messed up somewhere. I gotta go back to OZ and not forget what I've learned in this awesome country!

Oh, and has anybody found anything decent in the draft?
