Thank you all for effort.

I have some points left, can use for my every game.

Do we care about calendar- I mean playoffs will be in season 69?
Or maybe we should do everything in season 68?
Maybe no playoffs- just idea but not that clever

Hi there, Paul George.

Yes, unfortunately there a few teams (Mine included) that won't be 100% HG until the start of Season 68; otherwise, we could have started earlier.

Yes, starting to look very good. You could, if you want, add something along the lines of "in order of point differential in match(es) between these exact teams being compared, and if that's tied, then point differential of the whole regular season" at the end of your sentence "IF this is also tied, then point differential will be used." This is not critical addition by any means, but at least now I've added this suggestion. On the other hand, if you agree with it and add it, at least it's there then to enable possible discussion about it (should someone strongly disagree about that for instance).

@MrJ: I wonder if Paul George meant that if we start at the beginning of season 68 and play one match per week (13 matches regular season) and playoffs, there wouldn't be enough time to complete all this during season 68, and therefore suggested that maybe playoffs wouldn't be played? (I could've misinterpreted this completely though, but if so, please let me know Paul George).

If Paul George meant that we wouldn't have enough time to complete regular season and playoffs if we start simultaneously when Buzzerbeater season 68 (which is next season) starts, that has been thought out already.
As I wrote with MrJ he also confirmed that Buzzerbeater pre-season, season and after-season consists of 15 weeks total (anybody please let us know if we've done some miscalculations here!).
So therefore 1 regular season match per week would take 13 weeks, and there would be 2 weeks time to complete playoffs. Like mentioned, we would just need to play 2 playoff rounds per week to be able to finish the season within the BB season timeframe (15 weeks, right?).

Other option (if I calculated this right quickly and) should we want to play only 1 playoff match per week, would be to start a season with 2 weeks on which both 2 regular season matches would be played per team (so 4 matches per team would've taken place after 2 whole weeks), and that would leave us enough time to complete playoffs with the speed of 1 match per week (if bronze and gold medal match would be played within the same time frame with each other).

As for arranging PU games, unfortunately we can't do it more than 2 months ahead, so AFAIK we're forced to arrange only half of regular season games in one go, not whole seasons games at once (as regular season with 13 matches would last rather 3 than 2 months).

This is what I meant.
Or Maybe we could arrange two games in allstar week?

Sorry for the misunderstanding, Paul George.

And yes...2 games in the Allstar Week should help us get through the schedule in time...I think.

Weeks 1-12 - Round Robin (with 2 games in Allstar week)
Week 13 - Pre-Playoffs and Quarter Finals
Week 14 - Semis (Gold and Bronze Games)

?

I understand your point, but I really don't think we need it at this point. You are likely going to be the
Administrator/Coordinator of the League...so if this becomes an eventuality, which isn't that likely, you could make a decision then. I'm just mindful of scaring off managers with too many additional 'clauses' at this point.
I know you still want to discuss 'penalties' too. As Erik alluded to, I think we keep it relatively simple, easy to understand, and get it going.

We have 14 teams.
We have pretty much locked in the system we will use and the time it is going to take to do it.
We just need to:

1. Make sure all participants are familiar with PickUp Games and 'tokens'
2. Save enough of them to have a minimum of 5 or 6 tokens (can only organise 2 months ahead) for start of Season 68
3. Understand that being and staying 100% HG is a prerequisite for competing
4. Finalise a few simple rules to make sure everyone knows what will happen in some basic situations

So, still a bit to do, but we should try and keep it as simply as possible. This is just my opinion of course. I'm all for detailed planning (I'm a school teacher), but the start of Seaosn 68 will come around pretty quick.

Hey there, T-Lit.

yes there is. I created this one a little while ago and it seems it's been locked to keep, which is nice.
