The draft is a gamble no matter what so it depends a bit on your preferance. The 5-4 even though 19 may be a nice pick up for your team.

Also remember that box scores are pretty vague. Personally I don't put any merit in a box score, as they are only lines from one game. The game previos the player could have laid an egg, and the 10 games after he could have had 100+ turnovers. Boxscores = Distraction. They are interesting but don't be fooled by them.

hey who should i put first, i'm hoping to get my first pick at least.

SF 5 balls A 2 balls 18
PF 4 Balls B- 4 Balls 18
C 5 balls ---------------

potential is not a major issue for me as if the SF is a starter i could still get his salary to about 15K and be happy with that.

My main problem with the PF though is that he had 13 TO and no assists which leads me to believe he'll have crap handling and passing. The SF however 2-2 3 pointers, 1 steal, 1 blk, 2 assists , 7-17 FG so 5-15 2 pointers... And he has 5 balls and A grade rating so i'm hoping he has a starting salary of about 6K

I would prefer the 2nd guy but it sounds like you have made up your mind anyway

I'm assuming you're saying the second player because of his potential?

remember i am in DIV 4 and i dont think i'll be moving up, even a 13K salary player dominates in this league.

Yeah his potential. I wouldn't be happy with Starter potential whereas you don't seem to mind. I'm div 2 though so i need higher potential guys to train. Sounds like you have decided he would fit into your team so just go with that.

i'm thinking the 18 year old, he'd be a lot easier to train and would have star or allstar potential which means you could get him to at least 30K and for DIV 4 thats fantastic.

The common dilemma. What do you think is the right order?

A) 5 balls A+ 4 balls 19
B) 5 balls A+ 2 balls 18
C) 4 balls B+ 3 balls 18
D) 4 balls, B- 4 balls 19
E) 5 balls, scouted once (10 such players, some with good stats, others with very poor ones. If it matters, call the poor ones F)

In general, I plan training rather than selling, but a very good selling price should also be considered.

Thanks

If you are wanting to train I would probly go with C, but A should sell nice even though he is 19, plus he wouldn't be horrible to train. I started training my best player when he was 19 and he should be a 21yo with around 30k salary. It just depends on how you train them.
