I'd use ISO when you have 1 player that is great at both scoring and passing, has a lot of driving too. That way he can create offense for the team. Bonus if he's an outside player with high IS or vice versa, that way he can create a mismatch.
All offensive skills are important for that 1 player, because he needs to handle the ball a lot, drive to create shots, JS/JR/IS to make shots, but pass when he can't find a shot.
