I genuinely thought if GT had of been a bit more adventorous and made some moves last season, that HA would have struggled against them

Hey Sid,

I have made some major moves over the past month to releive some salary pressure (God it hurts dropping from ABBL) and have a more consistant team. I am still struggling to get my crowds anywhere near where they were in Div 2 before I got promoted to ABBL last season.

First relegation around was relatively easy for HA in that I spent half a season having a bet each way in the ABBL and pretty much had a value for salary team ready to go when I entered back into div 2.

I set the crowds below average to allow for the dissatisfaction of my crowd for my team being relegated.Just like a team gets a boost in crowd satisfaction the season they are promoted they take a kick when the team is relegated.

Teams who get promoted and forget to drop their ticket prices for the second season take a knock because the crowds are no longer as satisfied

I did a bit of research when renetering div 2 and had everything below half price i.e. bleachers $9 etc. gradually I snuck them up after having success against rivals and in TV games and in the cup.

If you are still in div 2 next season you will find that the crowd satisfcation will not be as low. Good luck to all

Thanks for the advice. I think I have been too much of a tight arse to drop my ticket margins too much so have suffered the consequences. I lowered my prices in line with where they were at before my promotion but didnt account for drop in crowd satisfaction. The fans have been harsh!

Damn I'm such a stupid bidder! When my eyes get caught by a player, there is no way I'll give up a bidding war :(

Ah well sometimes you overpay, sometimes you get a bargain and I guess that make us all happy traders.

6 games to go and the Great 8 finalists are set. While in the Big 8 there can still be a fair bit of movement between 3 - 6 with only 2 games separating them. Sorry North Carlton but I think you are 1 game to far away.

Any predictions for 3rd and 4th of the Big 8?

I had this once too. I think it's got to do with trades that you've made. Possibly you paid too much for a player or something along those lines.

There goes any run at finals I may have decided on. Guess I'll save the money I made so far this season and not reinvest in a new player.
